Moyhu Primary School
Family | School | Community
Moyhu Primary School has a proud tradition of community involvement and takes pride in the value placed on all participants in the education of our students.
Moyhu is part of the King Valley Cluster of schools, joining Greta Valley, Edi Upper, Whitfield and Myrrhee. There is a strong partnership between the schools, each with its own individual culture, all united in delivering the best possible educational opportunities to the students in our care.
Our aim is to provide an outstanding education within a supportive and caring environment that makes children passionate about learning for the rest of their lives. We are a small school that can offer our children dedicated attention as well as all the benefits, via the cluster, of a larger school’s curriculum support and resources. Our ‘enlarged family’ environment means that parents, staff and students always feel at home, informed and empowered.
Our shared vision is that our students
Will always be happy to come to school.
Will hold themselves in high self esteem.
Will be lifelong learners.
Will always be encouraged to reach their potential.
Will be skilled at social integration.
Will be adaptable and independent problem solvers.
Will learn sustainable life-long skills.
Our CORE BUSINESS is STUDENT LEARNING.
